IFRS-Advanced Course

This intermediate IFRS course provides a thorough review of the most relevant parts of the IAS/IFRS framework.

All topics will be accompanied by examples and cases to illustrate effective’s application. Issues that arise in practice will be discussed and participants are encouraged to participate by tabling company-specific issues they’ve encountered.

Additionally, more specific issues will be discussed as there are: income taxes, capitalization of expenses, lease applications and foreign currency treatment.

TRAINING METHODOLOGY

The training methodology combines lectures, discussions, group exercises and illustrations. Participants will gain both theoretical and practical knowledge of the topics. The emphasis is on the practical application of the topics and as a result participant will go back to the workplace with both the ability and the confidence to apply the techniques learned to their duties.
